Position Overview About the Role Plumbers at Sun City Plumbing & Heating help install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in homes, businesses, and new construction projects. The exact work will depend on your experience and the position available. Entry-level employees may help with tools, materials, cleanup, digging, basic installation work, and other job-site tasks while learning from experienced plumbers. More experienced plumbers may handle service calls, find and repair plumbing problems, install piping and fixtures, read plans, and complete rough-in, top-out, and final plumbing work. Plumbing Installation/Repair Help install, repair, and replace pipes, fixtures, drains, water lines, and other plumbing equipment Assist with or complete rough-in, top-out, and final plumbing work Test completed work to make sure plumbing systems operate safely and correctly Job-Site Work and Safety Follow job-site rules, safety procedures, plumbing codes, and supervisor instructions Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and plumbing equipment safely Keep the work area clean and free of job-related trash/materials Customer and Team Communication Communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and customers Ask questions when instructions or job details are unclear Treat customers, their property, and other employees with respect Tools and Daily Responsibilities Take care of company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials Complete basic job paperwork, notes, or work-order information when required Qualifications What we're looking for Shows up on time and is ready to work Takes pride in doing the job the right way and takes responsibility for the work they complete Follows instructions and asks questions when needed Can handle the physical demands of plumbing and construction work Helpful, but not required Previous plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other trade experience Plumbing apprenticeship, vocational training, license, or certification Previous plumbing experience is helpful, but it is not required. We also want to hear from dependable applicants who are willing to work, learn the trade, and take instruction.
