If you are good at what you do, take care of customers, run strong calls, and keep improving, your pay should reflect that. And we are not going to hand you a truck, send you out on your own, and only talk to you when something goes wrong. We want to support you. You Should Want to Earn More We are not looking for someone who is happy staying in the same place forever. Being a Great Plumber Is More Than Fixing Pipes Technical skill matters. But in service plumbing, that is only part of the job. You are walking into someone's home. They may have water on the floor. They may not have hot water. Their toilets may be backed up. They may be worried about how much the repair is going to cost. How you make that customer feel matters. We are looking for someone who can walk through the door, introduce themselves, have a real conversation, and make the customer feel comfortable. Someone who listens before they start talking. Someone who can explain a problem without making the customer feel stupid. Someone who can explain repair options clearly and help people make a good decision for their home. You should be able to meet a new customer and build trust quickly. If you are naturally good with people and make friends easily, you will fit in well here. A great service plumber should be someone customers are happy to see pull into the driveway. We Want Someone Who Takes Pride in the Details Good enough is not good enough. We want someone who cares what their work looks like when they are finished. Keep the home clean. Protect the floors. Clean up the work area. Double-check the job. Make sure the customer knows what was done. Treat their home like you would want someone to treat yours. You do not have to be perfect. But you should care about doing things the right way.
