Long-Term Assignment Local Candidates Only Position Overview Trade Management is seeking an experienced, Texas Licensed Journeyman Plumber for a long-term commercial construction project in Midkiff, TX. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with commercial plumbing installations, specifically copper sweat and PVC piping systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable tradesman looking for steady, long-term work, with additional commercial projects anticipated in the Midland area. Key Responsibilities Install commercial plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and fittings. Perform copper sweat soldering and PVC pipe installations. Measure, cut, assemble, and connect piping systems. Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and construction drawings. Install and secure piping, hangers, and supports. Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality workmanship. Work alongside apprentices and other trades to maintain project schedules. Follow OSHA guidelines and all jobsite safety requirements. Preferred Experience Commercial plumbing installation on large-scale construction projects. Proficiency in copper sweat and PVC installations. Cast iron piping installation experience is a plus. Experience interpreting commercial plumbing blueprints. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Requirements Active Texas Journeyman Plumber License required. Previous commercial construction plumbing experience required. Strong knowledge of copper sweat and PVC piping systems. Reliable transportation to the Midkiff, TX jobsite. Ability to work 10-hour shifts. Must successfully complete a client phone interview before placement. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods. Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely use plumbing hand and power tools. Why Trade Management?
