As a Septic Service Plumber / CDL Driver, you operate a Class A tanker truck to pump and clean septic tanks, perform basic plumbing and drain cleaning, and troubleshoot simple septic issues for commercial and residential customers. You locate and uncover tanks, complete required DOT and company paperwork, and follow safety and environmental procedures while providing courteous, professional service in the field each day. Responsibilities Drive and operate a CDL Class A tanker truck to pump and clean septic tanks as scheduled. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on septic systems and related plumbing components. Perform drain cleaning and basic plumbing services for residential and commercial customers. Locate and excavate septic tanks as needed while protecting surrounding property. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety procedures and maintain required driving logs. Communicate professionally with customers, explain findings, and document work performed. Use basic computer or mobile devices to complete service tickets and required reports. Assist with other field or shop duties related to liquid waste and septic services as assigned.
