In this pivotal role, you will oversee plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring all work complies with local building codes, plumbing regulations, and safety standards. Your expertise will drive project success, This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, and leadership skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship and operational excellence. Duties Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial construction projects, adhering to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Interpret Facility plans and technical schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs. Conduct building code analysis to ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding apparatus, and heavy lifting techniques to complete installations efficiently. Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and providing expert advice on plumbing system maintenance and repairs. Ensure safety by adhering to OSHA standards and managing proper use of tools like pipe cutters, threading machines, and HVAC components. Oversee the management of domestic water systems, heavy lifting tasks, remodeling projects, and general construction plumbing activities while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements Proven experience as a master plumber with extensive background in construction plumbing across residential and commercial sites. Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and building code compliance. Skilled in construction estimating, managing plumbing teams, field service operations, pipe threading, welding techniques, carpentry skills related to remodeling or assembly work. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while applying basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Valid state licensing or certification as a master plumber is required; additional certifications in welding or heavy machinery operation are a plus. Experience with construction site safety protocols including OSHA standards; familiarity with construction regulatory compliance is essential. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with project managers, contractors, clients, and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting; operate power tools; work at heights; perform heavy-duty tasks; and stand or walk for extended periods during site visits.
