Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment and drain cleaning tools Perform pipe fitting, threading, and soldering as required for various plumbing configurations Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects and coordinate with HVAC or other mechanical trades when necessary Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently to minimize downtime Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing and site work environments Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC integration, and remodeling processes Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and heavy lifting procedures Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations Experience with carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus Knowledge of building codes and regulations governing plumbing work Ability to operate commercial vehicles for site transportation when required Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail This role is vital for ensuring the integrity of plumbing systems across multiple project types.
