The Pump Technician/Operator will be required to perform on-sight evaluations of municipal pump and process equipment. Job duties require critical thinking with the technical ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and perform corrective actions/repairs as needed. Candidates will need to possess good verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner. Below is a list of requirements and job duties for the Field Service Operator role. Please note, this list is not an all-inclusive list. Other functions may be assigned, as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and troubleshoot water/wastewater pumping equipment
Perform inspections and troubleshoot C/2 systems.
Ability to safely operate auto lifts, forklift and other industrial equipment as required
Troubleshoot electrical control panels including 120V single phase through 480V three phase power.
Removal and installation of water and wastewater pump applications
Perform Start-up and testing of equipment
Overnight and weekend work may be required
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Good arithmetic skills are required
A Class CDL is preferred, with clean MVR - B Class considered
Mechanical aptitude required
3+ Years' experience in similar field of work is required
