Lead day-to-day operations handling repair, rebuild, maintenance, and installation of pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.

Equipment Examples:

Gould pumps, Peerless pumps, Nash vacuum pumps, vertical pumps, Clearfire gearboxes, cooling tower gearboxes, mechanical seals, bearings, shaftsResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and staff shop and field jobs from request through completion. Own scope, schedule, labor, materials, and documentationEstimate and quote repairs, rebuilds, service work, and installationsSource parts, materials, and outside servicesCoordinate with machining on fabrication, modification, and reverse engineeringSupervise, coach, and evaluate technicians and mechanics. Assist with hiringServe as primary customer contact, managing scope changes, pricing, and approvalsEnsure inspection, testing, and documentation are complete before return to serviceEnforce safety programs and OSHA compliance. Run safety meetings and incident follow-upTrack job costs, labor utilization, and profitability. Report to the Operations ManagerQualificationsHigh technical ability in regards to aforementioned industrial pumps and gearboxesProven leadership of people and workloadEstimating and job costing skillsValid driver's license and ability to travel
