Full Job Description Wire Harness Technician Location:

Foster City, CA 94404

Duration:

6 Months Job Overview As a Wire Harness Technician on the Harness Prototyping team at Client, you will support the manufacturing of prototype wire harnesses, electrical assemblies, and wiring rework on existing vehicles and test assets. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical circuits and networks, along with hands-on troubleshooting skills. You will collaborate with multiple teams in a fast-paced development environment. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and share knowledge, adaptability to changing priorities, and passion for quality workmanship are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Manufacture and rework wiring harnesses of various sizes and complexities. Build complex electrical components with minimal instructions. Assist with root cause analysis and repair of components returned from field operations or testing. Provide feedback to engineering teams on new electrical assemblies. Manage multiple projects and adapt to sudden changes in priorities. Regularly organize and maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Required Qualifications 5+ years of related experience, or an associate degree with at least 2 years of relevant job experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, wirelists, and formboards. Hands-on experience with specialized hand tools and power tools. Experience with diagnostic tools, SMT/PTH soldering, digital volt-ohm meters (DVOM), power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

IPC/WHMA-A-620

certification or practical wire harness manufacturing experience. Preferred Qualifications ASE certifications. EPA Section 609 certification. Basic experience with SolidWorks or CATIA. Automotive high-voltage experience or training. Fabrication experience. SR1

Pay:
