Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Rigger (Level I / Level II) to join our dynamic construction and heavy equipment operation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently rigging, lifting, and securing heavy loads using cranes and other material handling equipment. Your expertise in rigging techniques, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth operations on construction sites, shipping yards, or industrial facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy machinery while maintaining the highest safety standards to protect yourself and your team. Responsibilities Perform load handling procedures in crane operations, ensuring safe lifting and movement of materials according to established protocols Rig loads using appropriate load securing rigging methods, including slings, chains, hooks, and other lifting devices Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and hydraulics-based equipment with precision and safety awareness Conduct thorough inspections of safety equipment, lifting gear, and crane components before use to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently during all rigging and lifting activities Handle materials efficiently in warehouse settings or construction sites, including shipping & receiving tasks when necessary Collaborate with team members to implement safe crane operation practices and adhere to all safety protocols during complex lifts or heavy equipment operation Qualifications Valid certification as a Level I or Level II Rigger with demonstrated experience in rigging and crane operations Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, materials handling equipment operation, and heavy machinery maintenance Proven experience working in construction environments or industrial settings involving crane operation and load handling Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and OSHA safety standards Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment confidently Excellent communication skills for coordinating lifts and ensuring team safety during operations Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites Join us if you're eager to leverage your rigging expertise in a fast-paced environment where safety is always the top priority!
