Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bridge and Pile Driving Professional to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of bridge components and pile foundations, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to all safety standards. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, load handling, and construction site safety will drive project success from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects that make a lasting impact on communities. Duties Operate heavy machinery including cranes, excavators, backhoes, boom trucks, forklifts, and hydraulic equipment to handle materials and drive piles with precision. Set up and secure loads using rigging techniques, ensuring proper load securing procedures in accordance with safety regulations. Perform pile driving operations using appropriate equipment, maintaining alignment and depth specifications. Follow load handling procedures in crane operations, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times. Conduct routine inspections of safety equipment, lifting gear, and construction materials to maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards. Adhere to construction workplace safety regulations by implementing safety protocols during all phases of bridge and pile installation. Coordinate with team members for shipping & receiving activities, materials handling, and site logistics to optimize workflow efficiency. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as cranes (including overhead cranes), excavators, forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, and hydraulic machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge related to hydraulics, load handling procedures in crane operations, rigging techniques, and material handling equipment operation. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the implementation of OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform materials handling tasks safely and efficiently within a busy construction environment. Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects involving bridge construction or pile driving is required. Excellent understanding of safety protocol adherence and construction workplace safety practices. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads, working at heights, and operating various types of heavy machinery safely. Pay:
$17.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
