The Wire Rope Sling Fabricator / Warehouse Professional's primary responsibilities include fulfilling and shipping customer orders, receiving and organizing inventory, maintaining a clean warehouse, and stocking products. A key function of this role includes the manufacture and assembly of wire rope slings and other related wire rope products. Daily tasks must align with company policies, procedures, and instructions. Additional responsibilities include reading documents, providing customer service and sales support, using equipment, driving company vehicles, handling phone calls, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage inventory through counting, organizing, stocking, pulling, boxing, and carrying items Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and other workspaces Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other employees to complete tasks Assemble wire rope slings and related wire rope assemblies according to specifications and quality standards Assist sales team with visual product inspections at our facility, customers' facilities, or job sites (indoors and outdoors) Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies are low Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load and unload trucks Verify that orders are accurately pulled before leaving the facility Receive and count incoming items from suppliers Adhere to all warehouse safety and security protocols Ensure all doors and access points are closed and secured at the end of the day Provide assistance and solutions to walk-in customers to ensure satisfaction Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Abilities:

Punctual and reliable attendance Eagerness to learn and develop professionally Positive attitude and strong work ethic Maintain proper hygiene and a clean uniform Valid driver's license with the ability to safely drive company vehicles in most weather conditions Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; capable of following written and verbal instructions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to use hand tools and equipment for cutting, swaging, pressing, and assembling wire rope Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in fabrication tasks Previous experience in rigging, wire rope assembly, or manufacturing is a plus
