Be able to pass a background check Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver/ Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Setting up cranes and signaling loads. Responsibilities Operate and drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods to designated locations. Setting up cranes and hauling counterweights to site Signaling cranes and rigging Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles Crane and Rigging knowledge a plus Strong understanding of load unloading procedures and safety practices in commercial driving. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
