Experienced Framer - Residential & Commercial Construction Modern Creation is seeking an experienced, dependable Framer to join our construction team. We work on high-quality residential and commercial construction projects throughout Orange County and surrounding areas. This position is for an experienced framer who can read and understand construction plans and execute framing work directly from the drawings. You must be able to work accurately, efficiently, and with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Read, understand, and work directly from architectural and structural plans Lay out walls, openings, doors, windows, headers, and other framing components according to plans Perform wood framing for new construction, additions, remodels, and tenant improvements Frame walls, ceilings, soffits, roofs, blocking, backing, and other structural components Understand dimensions, elevations, details, sections, and framing specifications Verify field dimensions before beginning work Identify conflicts between plans and existing field conditions and communicate them to the Foreman or Construction Manager Maintain accurate layout, including square, level, plumb, and proper elevations Install required hardware, connectors, hold-downs, straps, blocking, and backing according to plans Coordinate framing with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cabinetry, and other trades Follow Modern Creation's quality-control standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment Take direction from the Foreman and Construction Manager while also being capable of working independently Required Qualifications Ability to read construction plans is

Candidates must have: Professional framing experience Strong wood-framing knowledge Ability to independently read architectural and structural plans Ability to understand dimensions, elevations, sections, details, and structural callouts Experience laying out framing directly from plans Knowledge of standard framing methods and construction practices Ability to use levels, lasers, measuring tools, saws, nail guns, and standard framing equipment Ability to accurately measure, calculate, cut, and assemble framing components Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other trades Ability to work safely and follow jobsite safety requirements What We're Looking For Modern Creation focuses on precision, craftsmanship, and quality.
