Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Contractor to complete residential asphalt shingle roof replacement projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with complete tear-offs, shingle installation, roof decking repairs, flashing, and general roofing systems. This position requires quality workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Complete tear-off and replacement of existing asphalt shingle roofing Install GAF Timberline HDZ architectural shingles and related roofing materials Inspect roof decking after tear-off and replace damaged or deteriorated sections as needed Install underlayment, ice & water protection, starter shingles, ridge cap, and drip edge Install and repair flashing around skylights, valleys, vents, pipe penetrations, and roof transitions Properly waterproof and integrate existing skylights into the new roofing system Inspect and address existing roof ventilation as needed Protect surrounding property during construction Maintain a clean and safe jobsite throughout the project Remove and dispose of roofing debris upon completion Communicate with the project coordinator regarding project progress, additional repairs, and unexpected conditions Skills Proven experience in residential roofing and asphalt shingle installation Experience with complete roof tear-offs and replacement Knowledge of proper flashing and waterproofing techniques Experience with roof decking repairs Experience working around skylights and roof penetrations Familiarity with GAF roofing products and installation requirements Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable communication and scheduling Ability to safely perform physically demanding roofing work Appropriate licensing and insurance for roofing work This position offers an opportunity to work with a growing construction coordination company on residential roofing projects.
