This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing roof leaks, performing preventive maintenance, and applying roof coatings. Candidates must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently or with a small crew. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial and/or residential roofing systems, including roof coatings. Candidates must be safety-conscious and able to work efficiently as part of a crew. Responsibilities Respond to service calls and perform leak investigations on commercial and residential roofs. Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems (shingle, tile, BUR, TPO, PVC, Coating systems, metal, etc.) Apply roof coatings and perform preventive maintenance work (acrylic, silicone, elastomeric, etc.) Inspect roofs for damage and identify repair or coating needs. Tear off and replace damaged roofing materials. Document findings with photos and service reports. Communicate with supervisors regarding roof conditions and repair needs. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment. Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times. Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and clients as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory in good order. Qualifications Minimum [5] years of roofing experience, including roof coating application (preferred, but will train the right candidate) Knowledge of roof coating systems and proper preparation/application techniques Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights for extended periods Familiarity with roofing materials, techniques, and installation methods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail Ability to work in varying weather conditions
