This role requires technical expertise, a deep understanding of varied roofing materials, and the ability to seamlessly install VELUX skylights to keep our customers' homes beautiful and completely leak-free.

Tools & Equipment Provided:

Company vehicle (after training period), full PPE, anchors, ropes, VELUX flashing kits, and a company tablet for documentation. You provide any personal tools needed. Your Mission Your primary responsibility will be the expert scoping, preparation, and installation of new and replacement VELUX skylights across the Denver metro area.

Specialized Installations:

Measure, prep, and execute the installation of VELUX skylights, ensuring rigid waterproofing standards and precise flashing.

Roofing Mastery:

Navigate and tie into various complex roofing systems. You must be fully capable of working with traditional shingles, presidential shingles, Category 4 impact-resistant shingles, and tile roofs.

Accessory Integration:

Frequently collaborate with our team to install attic fans, ventilation accessories, and other roof apparatuses.

Homeowner Communication:

Act as the professional face of our company. You will explain the daily scope of work to homeowners clearly and respectfully (leaving any sales or pricing questions to the office staff).

Quality Assurance:

Perform rigorous quality and water-tightness checks to earn your quality bonuses and ensure every job meets VELUX and roofing manufacturer specifications before you leave the site.

Documentation:

Capture clear before/after photos, flashing steps, and daily job notes using the company tablet. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a specialized tradesperson who understands that when it comes to cutting a hole in a roof, "good enough" is a recipe for disaster.

The Essentials:

Deep Roofing Experience:

Proven, hands-on experience installing, flashing, and repairing traditional shingles, presidential shingles, Category 4 shingles, and tile roofs.

Strict Safety Adherence:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is required, specifically with fall prevention training. You must have a natural tendency to adhere strictly to all safety requirements.

References & Verification:

Professional references and/or formal roofing training certificates are strictly required.

Professional Demeanor:

Maintain a clean, professional image and possess excellent, polite communication skills when interacting with homeowners.

Reliability:

You show up on time, ready to work. As a W-2 employee, our team and our customers depend on your consistency.

Valid Driver's License:

You have a clean driving record and can safely operate a company vehicle.

Bonus Points:

Specific VELUX installation experience or training. Major shingle/roofing manufacturer training or certifications (e.g., GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, etc.). Experience working with flat roof systems (EPDM / TPO). Experience navigating and working with stone-coated steel roofing.

Pay:

$28.00 - $36.00 per hour
