Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers in compliance with construction safety regulations. Measure, cut, fabricate, and install various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, metal siding, and other exterior cladding products. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure precise installation while adhering to safety protocol guidelines. Safely operate ladders and harnesses during elevated work activities, maintaining strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations. Perform related tasks such as caulking seams, sealing joints, and finishing surfaces for a polished look. Assist with roofing repair or metal roofing projects as needed, demonstrating versatility across exterior construction tasks. Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while following proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; document progress and report issues promptly to supervisors. Experience Previous experience in siding installation or general construction work is highly preferred. Familiarity with roofing repair, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, or restoration projects is advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting, and fabrication techniques is essential. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions demonstrates resilience and adaptability. Understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and workplace safety regulations ensures compliance at all times.
