In this role, you will be responsible for applying waterproofing materials and techniques to protect building structures from water intrusion, ensuring durability and longevity. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality results on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and materials, and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects with precision and professionalism. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of waterproofing materials Install waterproof membranes, coatings, sealants, and flashing on foundations, roofs, balconies, and other surfaces requiring water protection Follow blueprint specifications and construction plans meticulously to ensure proper application areas and techniques Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installation processes Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute waterproofing tasks Conduct inspections throughout the project to verify quality standards are met and identify any issues needing correction Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, and electrical teams to coordinate work efforts Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Requirements Proven construction site experience with a focus on waterproofing or related trades such as roofing or masonry Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and scaffolding or ladders safely Knowledge of building materials including membranes, caulking compounds, sealants, stucco, tile masonry products, and gutters Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately Experience with installation techniques involving concrete forming, plastering, restoration work, or tile laying is a plus Familiarity with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is advantageous for reviewing plans Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements (dimensional measurements) and following specifications Customer service skills for communicating effectively with clients or project managers when needed Join our team as a Field Waterproofer if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship in outdoor construction environments.
