Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install roofing materials according to construction plans and schematics. Set up and secure ladders properly while following all ladder use safety protocols to ensure safe access at heights. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute roofing projects aligned with design specifications. Follow all construction safety harness procedures and adhere to workplace safety regulations during outdoor work activities. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling roofing materials, equipment, or supplies on-site. Support other crew members in siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, or masonry work as needed for comprehensive project completion. Skills Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs. Strong knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence is essential. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and ladder use for various roofing tasks. Experience with roofing repair techniques including metal roofing, single-ply membrane installation, and restoration projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Outdoor work experience with exposure to varying weather conditions is highly valued. Familiarity with construction site experience including heavy lifting, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing basics or remodeling projects enhances versatility.
