Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Siding Contractor to complete a residential siding replacement project. The project involves removing existing vinyl siding and installing new 29-gauge corrugated metal siding. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal siding installation, proper weatherproofing, and exterior trim work, with a focus on quality workmanship and a durable, professional finish. Responsibilities Remove existing vinyl siding and associated accessories from designated exterior walls Inspect exposed sheathing and framing for rot, moisture damage, or other issues Install approximately 800 square feet of 29-gauge corrugated metal siding in Union Clay color Install compatible corner, window, door, and other necessary metal trim Install or repair weather-resistant barrier as needed Properly flash and seal windows, doors, penetrations, and siding transitions Protect existing roofing, windows, doors, and surrounding areas during installation Report concealed damage and obtain approval before completing repairs outside the agreed scope Maintain a clean and safe jobsite and remove construction debris Communicate project progress and unexpected conditions with the project coordinator Skills Proven experience with residential siding installation Knowledge of corrugated metal siding and exterior trim systems Experience with siding removal, weather barriers, flashing, and moisture protection Ability to measure, cut, and install metal siding accurately Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently Reliable communication and scheduling Ability to safely perform physically demanding exterior construction work This position offers an opportunity to work with a growing construction coordination company on residential roofing projects.
