Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roof Repair Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and general construction, with the ability to perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on various roofing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, safety protocols, and the use of hand and power tools. The Roof Repair Technician will play a vital part in ensuring the durability and safety of our clients' roofs through expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, or areas requiring repair or replacement Perform roof repairs including patching, sealing, and replacing damaged shingles or panels Utilize hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely and effectively during repairs Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal sheets, or framing components Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition Skills Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry Proficiency with hand tools (caulking guns, hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws) Familiarity with roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane systems Strong heavy lifting capability and physical stamina for demanding tasks on-site Maintenance Person experience across multiple trades is advantageous Ability to work safely at heights and on scaffolding or ladders Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of repair work This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality roofing projects while developing your skills across various construction disciplines.
