In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining air barriers, waterproofing systems, and protective coatings across various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure building envelopes are sealed effectively to enhance energy efficiency, prevent water intrusion, and extend the lifespan of structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of skills, and contribute to high-quality building finishes. Duties Install and apply air barriers, waterproofing membranes, coatings, and related materials according to project specifications and technical drawings. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately follow installation procedures is a plus but not mandatory. Conduct thorough inspections of installed systems to ensure proper adhesion, coverage, and performance standards are met. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate material application and fit. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection results for quality assurance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or related fields with a focus on waterproofing, coatings, or building envelope systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of building materials installation including caulking, waterproofing systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike. Construction site experience with a focus on waterproofing or coating projects is preferred.
