Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Woodworker/Landscape Specialist, where you will bring craftsmanship and creativity to life through custom woodworking projects and landscape enhancements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and restoration projects, transforming spaces with precision, skill, and attention to detail. You will be instrumental in constructing, installing, and restoring wood structures, fixtures, and landscape features that elevate our clients' environments. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute woodworking and landscape projects. Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and install wood components. Perform residential carpentry tasks including door hanging, fence installation, trim and different aspects of carpentry. Execute landscape features such as custom wood fencing, decking, garden structures, and other outdoor fixtures with precision. Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs ; ensure adherence to safety protocols such as power tool safety and proper handling of construction materials. Assist with remodeling projects by installing pavers, hardscapes and etc. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining a clean and organized work site; collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Maintaining different aspects of lawns/landscapes of residential/commercial properties. Skills Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking and woodworking machines Strong background in carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, siding, metal stud framing, and fixture installation. Experience with residential carpentry projects such as remodeling or restoration industry work; knowledge of drywall installation and plastering is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety; ability to lift heavy materials safely. Knowledge of wood construction materials like lumber, plywood, MDF; experience working with siding or mold remediation is advantageous.
