Job Description

Are you tired of the heat and weather? Our Roofing team works on platforms with safety gear inside our state-of-the-art Construction Facility with great consistent hours. Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm. This team is responsible for building, assembling, and completing roof systems for custom design modular homes. This position involves hands-on construction work, use of power and hand tools, working at elevated heights, and following established building plans, quality standards, and safety procedures. We have a Skill Based Pay system with incentives. We are looking for Experience or willing to train with transferrable skills. BUILD your Career with us. Essential Job Duties Build and assemble roof systems for modular homes according to plans and specifications. Measure, cut, fit, and install lumber and roofing components. Install roof sheathing and other roof materials as required. Install shingles and roofing underlayment. Assist with construction and installation of dormers and other roof features. Install fascia, soffit, vents, and related roofing components as assigned. Use nail guns, saws, drills, staplers, and other construction tools safely. Read measurements and use tape measures accurately. Follow proper nail patterns and established construction procedures. Inspect work for quality and correct deficiencies before the home moves to the next production stage. Maintain production pace while ensuring quality workmanship. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Properly care for company tools and equipment. Follow all company safety policies, including fall-protection requirements. Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding production or quality concerns. Assist other Roofing Department employees as needed to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Previous roofing, framing, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time. Strong attention to quality and detail. Ability to work safely around moving equipment and construction materials. Must be comfortable working at elevated heights. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding construction/manufacturing position.
Employees must be able to:
Stand and walk for the majority of the workday. Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and balance. Work on elevated surfaces and roof structures. Regularly lift and carry construction materials, tools, and supplies. Push, pull, position, and handle building materials. Perform repetitive construction tasks throughout the shift. Safely perform essential job duties in an active manufacturing environment.
