Job Type:
Full-time (30-50 hours/week, typically Mon-Fri) About the Role Supreme Solar and Electric is hiring an experienced Assistant Electrician & Solar Installer to support our Lead Electrician on residential projects. This role is designed for a skilled #2 installer who can anticipate the Lead's needs, run conduit, pull wire, and assist with battery and solar equipment installations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Electrical & Solar Support:
Assist with main panel/service upgrades, backup load panel installations, circuit relocation, conduit running, and wire pulling.
System Installation:
Work on residential solar arrays, inverters, microinverters, and battery backup systems (Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge, Enphase).
Jobsite Execution:
Follow electrical diagrams/plans, troubleshoot system issues, stage materials, and maintain a safe, clean work area.
Documentation & Safety:
Take detailed job progress photos, adhere to all electrical safety protocols, and communicate effectively with the crew and customers. Qualifications Proven hands-on electrical and residential solar installation experience (as a #2 installer or electrician assistant). 3-5 Years experience preferred Experience assisting with main panel upgrades, service work, and battery storage systems. Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and active construction sites. Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and perform assigned work independently under minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
