Seasonal Holiday Light & Decoration Installer Elkhart, IN Temporary / Seasonal Position | Full-Time Available Position Summary Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable and energetic Seasonal Holiday Light & Decoration Installers to help create a breathtaking outdoor winter light display at one of the area's premier botanical gardens. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, working with their hands, and being part of a team that transforms the gardens into a magical holiday destination for thousands of visitors. Essential Responsibilities Install holiday lighting, displays, decorations, and themed seasonal elements throughout the botanical gardens Wrap trees, shrubs, and structures with decorative lighting Assemble, place, secure, and maintain seasonal decorations and display features Assist with setup and teardown of holiday attractions and special event areas Use ladders, hand tools, lifts, and installation equipment safely and effectively Perform basic troubleshooting and replacement of lights, cords, and display components Load, unload, organize, and transport decorations and installation materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment for team members and visitors Follow project timelines and safety procedures while working independently or as part of a team Qualifications Previous experience in event setup, construction, landscaping, decorating, maintenance, or outdoor labor is preferred but not required Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work at heights using ladders and/or lifts when required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation plans Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team Must be at least 18 years of age Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds Walk, kneel, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in cool temperatures, wind, rain, and other seasonal conditions Comfortable working on ladders and elevated platforms when needed Schedule Temporary / Seasonal Assignment Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Occasional overtime, weekends, and special event hours may be available as installation deadlines approach Compensation $18.00/hr Why Peoplelink?
