Impact Solar, LLC is seeking an energetic Lead Solar Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced solar technician looking to gain leadership experience, or a journeyman electrician interested in stepping into the solar industry. As the lead on each job site, you will oversee system layout, guide installation crews, and serve as the job site point of contact. Job Duties Include Leading residential installation crews and serving as the on‑site point of contact Assembling and installing solar panels on roofs and other structures Inspecting electrical installation and wiring Mounting racking and ensuring proper system layout according to plans Providing professional customer service and representing Impact Solar on site Performing maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar systems Training and supporting junior technicians Performing other related duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 5+ years of electrical or solar installation experience NABCEP Certification or Journeyman Electrician strongly preferred High School Diploma or GED Comfortable using standard hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits Starting rate $35-$45/hr , based on experience and certifications PTO , health insurance , and 401(k) included
