Job Description

Radon Mitigation Installer:
Paid Training, Path to $45/hour and Service Center Leadership We are looking for people who want to learn a skilled trade, become exceptionally good at it, and build a career with us as we grow. $24
  • 26/hour for the first 90 days, then $26
  • 28/hour, plus overtime. Certified installers earn $32
  • 45/hour. Service Center Co-Founders can earn $125,000
  • 175,000+ in salary and profit sharing.
Just Radon is growing and promotes from within. We are planning additional service centers in Salem, Bend, Newport, Seattle, and Southern California. Experienced radon mitigators are welcome, but radon experience is not required. We train the right person. Experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, roofing, electrical work, or professional use of power tools is a strong plus. Pay & Career Path
  • Installer Helper, first 90 days: $24

  • Systems Technician, after 90 days: $26

  • Certified Systems Installer:

  • 35/hour + $1,000 certification bonus
  • Senior Systems Installer:
    $37

  • Master Systems Installer:
    $42

  • Service Center Co-Founder:
    $125,000

  • Non-certified career track: Senior and Lead Systems Technician positions at $29
  • 34/hour
  • Overtime:
    1.5x for hours over 40/week
  • Google review bonuses
  • Annual performance bonus of up to $1,500 paid in December Advancement to Senior and Master Installer positions is based on certification, experience, installation milestones, workmanship, customer satisfaction, and performance.
The Service Center Co-Founder position is a leadership and profit-sharing position (not an equity position). It requires certification, Master Systems Installer qualification, and relocation to a new or existing service center. Benefits

  • Free English-language training for Spanish-speaking employees, with a defined career path What You'll Do You'll learn to install, troubleshoot, and service professional radon mitigation systems, including our patented RadonWell® system.
Your work will include:
  • Installing sub-slab and sub-soil depressurization systems
  • Core drilling through concrete slabs, foundation walls, and band joists
  • Installing Schedule 40 PVC and ABS piping
  • Installing roof flashings and exterior system components
  • Working from ladders up to 40 feet
  • Working in crawlspaces, attics, garages, basements, and outdoors in varying weather
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing, bending, climbing, and crawling during the workday
  • Learning to recognize asbestos, lead, electrical, plumbing, and other job-site hazards
  • Protecting customers' homes before work begins
  • Leaving every work area cleaner than you found it
  • Documenting every project thoroughly in CompanyCam
  • Explaining completed systems to homeowners Training You don't need to know radon mitigation when you arrive. You do need to be willing to learn.
  • Month 1: Learn our vans, tools, shop, procedures, and installation standards while assisting experienced installers.
  • Month 2: Begin supervised installations with daily mentoring and regular skills review.
  • By Month 6: Complete required NRPP or NRSB measurement and mitigation coursework.
The coursework is required. Taking the certification exams is optional, but employees who pass both the Measurement Professional and Mitigation Specialist exams move onto our substantially higher-paying certified career track. Employees who eventually reach Master Systems Installer status may qualify for Service Center Co-Founder opportunities as Just Radon expands. Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • A demonstrated record of reliability and steady work, school, military service, trade training, or other meaningful responsibility
  • Recent high school, trade school, and college graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and driving-record review
  • Ability to perform the physical work described above
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to work
  • Professional appearance and customer-service attitude If hired, employees provide steel-toe boots and two pairs of Duluth Ultimate Work Pants in khaki or brown.
