About Us Lifetime Energy is a growing residential solar company dedicated to helping homeowners reduce energy costs and transition to clean, renewable energy. We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Solar Installer to join our crew and help power homes across North and South Carolina. Job Overview The Residential Solar Installer is responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential rooftops and properties. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities Install solar panels, racking, wiring, and associated equipment on residential roofs and ground mounts Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans to determine layout and installation specs Mount solar modules, inverters, combiner boxes, and electrical components according to code and manufacturer specifications Run conduit and wiring, and make electrical connections under the guidance of a licensed electrician when required Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure proper function Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including proper use of fall protection and PPE Load, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners and other crew members on-site Complete accurate installation documentation and job site photos Maintain a clean and organized work site Qualifications 1+ years of experience in solar installation, roofing, electrical, or construction preferred OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) Working knowledge of hand and power tools Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong teamwork and communication skills NABCEP certification a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and access confined spaces Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and other weather conditions What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid training and certification opportunities Opportunities for advancement into lead installer or crew supervisor roles Company vehicle/tools provided
Pay:
