Job Description

Job Summary Smart Light Labs | Kerrville, Boerne & San Antonio Area Smart Light Labs installs permanent architectural and holiday lighting on homes. We're looking for a dependable, hands-on worker who takes pride in clean, professional work. This position regularly involves working from extension ladders at two-story rooflines and from boom lifts. Previous experience working comfortably and safely at these heights is required. This is not a ground-only helper position. Duties Help measure, cut, and install aluminum lighting track along rooflines. Install lighting components and neatly route wiring. Use drills, drivers, measuring tools, and other installation equipment. Help set up equipment, organize materials, and keep job sites clean. Work carefully around customers' homes and landscaping. Qualifications Proven experience working from ladders at two-story heights on a ladder and boom lift. Willingness to work from a boom lift after appropriate training and ladder.

Dependability:

show up on time and communicate clearly. Comfort using basic hand and power tools. Attention to detail and willingness to learn our installation process. Ability to perform outdoor installation work, including climbing ladders and handling equipment. Reliable transportation to the agreed meeting location. Experience in gutter installation, roofing, siding, painting, electrical work, or holiday lighting is a strong plus. Permanent-lighting experience is not required if you have relevant ladder experience and can learn.

Pay:

$20 per hour. We value careful, consistent work—not rushing or taking unnecessary risks. Safe equipment use and appropriate fall protection are part of the job.
