Bastion Construction Services, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced Carpet, Linoleum & Resilient Tile Layers for a public works construction project located in the Bassett / La Puente area of Los Angeles County. We are actively recruiting skilled tradespeople, with an emphasis on qualified local residents in accordance with the Los Angeles County Local and Targeted Worker Hire Policy. Job Responsibilities Install carpet, linoleum, resilient tile, vinyl flooring, and related flooring materials as required by the project. Prepare surfaces for installation, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing materials. Perform work in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned work efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience installing carpet, linoleum, resilient tile, or similar flooring materials. Familiarity with commercial construction and public works projects preferred. Ability to read measurements, use trade-specific tools, and follow jobsite safety requirements. Reliable transportation to the project location. Ability to perform the physical duties associated with flooring installation. Compensation This is a public works project subject to applicable California prevailing wage requirements.
