We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Remodeling Field Technician to join our team. Job Overview As a Field Tech / Craftsman, you will play a hands-on role in executing high-end kitchen and bath renovation projects. You will work directly on job sites handling various stages of remodeling including demolition, light framing, plumbing/electrical rough-ins, drywalling, tile setting, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.

Key Responsibilities Job Site Preparation & Demolition:

Safely tear down existing fixtures, cabinetry, tile, and flooring while keeping work sites clean and secure.

Carpentry & Installation:

Install custom cabinets, trim, moulding, doors, hardware, and subflooring.

Tile & Surfaces:

Prep walls/floors, apply waterproofing systems (e.g., Schluter), and install wall/floor tile, backsplashes, and shower pans.

Basic Trades Work:

Assist with light plumbing (setting vanities, fixtures, toilets) and basic electrical (swapping outlets, switches, light fixtures) as permitted by local guidelines.

Drywall & Paint:

Perform drywall patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and touch-up painting.

Quality & Cleanliness:

Maintain clean, safe job sites; conduct daily cleanups; protect client property with drop cloths and floor masking.

Communication:

Work collaboratively with Project Managers, lead trades, and clients to ensure work stays on schedule and meets our quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

2+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling, general carpentry, or kitchen/bath construction preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and job site safety practices.

Tile & Cabinetry:

Experience with tile layout/setting and cabinet installation is a major plus.

Problem Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot unexpected structural, mechanical, or layout issues on site.

Communication & Professionalism:

Good communication skills, strong work ethic, and a clean, professional appearance in clients' homes.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation/vehicle capable of hauling tools/materials. Must have your own hand tools and basic cordless power tools (specialized tools provided). Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for full shifts.
