Handy with tools and ready to learn more? We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our weatherization crew at Anderson Heating, Air & Insulation in Calhoun, GA. You don't need years of professional experience, but you should be comfortable using tools and tackling basic repairs. Experience from construction, farm maintenance, property upkeep, or fixing things at home all counts. What you'll do Weatherization is the main job, with a variety of home repairs mixed in: Blow attic insulation and install crawlspace vapor barriers. Air seal homes, install weatherstripping, and seal or repair ductwork. Handle minor carpentry, drywall, and general handyman repairs. Help with plumbing and electrical repairs and installations under our licensed team's direction. Interested in getting into HVAC, or already have a little experience? Depending on the job, you may also help install heating and air systems and assist our technicians with occasional maintenance and service work. It's an opportunity to build those skills while working across several trades. What we're looking for Some hands-on repair experience, dependable attendance, and a willingness to learn. Basic plumbing or electrical experience is a strong plus. You must be prepared for physical work in attics, crawlspaces, and under houses. We wear a lot of hats here, so being willing to help the crew wherever needed matters. No weatherization experience required. We'll train the right person.
