We are immediately hiring dependable subcontractor technicians to join our team installing high-quality fiber optic internet cables for homes and businesses across the Cedar Rapids area. This is contract work starting immediately and continuing through roughly December 2026.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated and willing to work hard to meet client goals. Dependable, punctual, and able to complete goals with minimal oversight. Able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines. Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and locations across the city. Able to pass a drug test and background check. Valid driver's license and a good driving record (must be insurable). Must provide basic hand tools and cable opening tools. Experience with fiber optics is helpful but not required. Experience in construction, cabling, or mechanical work is a plus. Familiarity with bucket trucks and climbing techniques for utility poles is a plus. Own a presentable work truck or van (preferred). Labor rates start at $20.00 per hour per crew member and may increase to $25.00 per hour after one month of proven quality workmanship. Performance bonuses are also available.
