Job Description

Make a difference in you community! The Town of Genoa is seeking an individual to fill a vacant seat on the Genoa Town Advisory Board. In accordance with Douglas County Title 18.02.040 , the vacancy shall be filled by appointment by the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners to fill the remaining term to expire 12/31/2028. Genoa Town Advisory Board members serve without compensation. •Names of all applicants for position may be made public.•Must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the position. Must be an actual resident of Douglas County 30 days prior to appointment Must be a registered voter in the State of Nevada Must be a qualified elector pursuant to Section 1 of Article 2 of the Constitution of the State of Nevada Must be a resident of the Town of Genoa (please refer to Town boundary map) Must be 18 years of age Must be a citizen of the United States.
