UC Berkeley Haas School of Business seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as its next Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Since its founding in 1898, Haas has challenged assumptions, reimagined what business leadership can be, and prepared leaders to navigate what comes next. The opportunity now is to bring that story more fully to life, translating a distinctive brand into greater visibility, enrollment, and growth. The next CMO will help shape how Haas competes and connects with audiences as higher education, business, technology, and the ways people consume information continue to evolve. A central priority will be strengthening enrollment marketing across graduate programs, bringing together brand and performance marketing to reach new audiences, strengthen recruitment and yield, and support sustainable growth. Data, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies will create new opportunities to better understand audiences, optimize investment, and continually evolve how Haas goes to market. At the same time, the CMO will help tell a more integrated and compelling story about Haas—its research, academic excellence, student and alumni impact, and connection to one of the world's most dynamic innovation ecosystems. Working across Haas and the broader UC Berkeley community, the CMO will build on the momentum already underway to strengthen Haas' reputation and extend its reach and impact.
