Job Description
Job Description
Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Buyer Portal (procurement, demand forecasting, replenishment) and Logistics Portal (PO allocations, carrier appointments, inventory flow) — from strategy through delivery.
Translate complex business requirements from Buying, Logistics, Finance, and Operations into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for the IT development team.
Direct and manage the IT development team — setting priorities, removing blockers, and overseeing QA and UAT to ensure releases are high quality and minimally disruptive.
Identify and manage integration points with upstream and downstream systems, coordinating changes across the full data and application landscape.
Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple concurrent workstreams — maintaining clarity on priorities, dependencies, and timelines while proactively resolving risks.
Drive kaizen across both applications, continuously identifying opportunities to reduce friction, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency.
Serve as the single point of accountability for both portals — communicating progress, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Mentor and cross-train team members, sharing product thinking and best practices to build shared knowledge and reduce key-person dependencies.
Manage vendor and technology partner relationships tied to both platforms.

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or equivalent role delivering custom software products — ideally within supply chain, procurement, or retail operations.
Demonstrated ability to own a product end-to-end: roadmap through release, requirements through retrospective.
Strong experience managing and directing IT development teams — comfortable leading engineers without being an engineer.
Proven track record managing multiple simultaneous projects and workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
Deep expertise in translating complex business processes into clear, structured requirements (user stories, process flows, data mapping, acceptance criteria).
Experience with application integration — understanding APIs, data flows, and how changes in one system ripple across others.
Outstanding stakeholder communication skills — equally effective presenting to a VP and whiteboarding with a developer.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to use data to identify opportunities and evaluate trade-offs.
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience with procurement, replenishment, or logistics applications — particularly order management, carrier appointment scheduling, or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with kaizen, lean, or continuous improvement methodologies applied to software products or business processes.
Experience with BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) and an appreciation for how reporting drives operational decision-making.
Exposure to AI/ML-driven features in operational software — experience socializing and building adoption for algorithm-driven recommendations is a strong plus.
Experience working in retail, grocery, or consumer goods supply chains.
