At UConn Health, this class is accountable for independently performing planning, analysis, and strategy work in support of organizational initiatives, including conducting research and analysis, supporting business planning and development activities, coordinating strategic initiatives, and providing recommendations and analytical support to leadership to inform organizational decision-making.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic, operational, and business initiatives; Collects, analyzes, interprets, and reports operational, financial, organizational, market, and other relevant data to support decision-making; Performs financial modeling, budget projections, and resource analyses; Develops, maintains, and utilizes internal and external data sources, reporting tools, and research methodologies; Researches and evaluates trends, emerging issues, opportunities, and risks affecting organizational strategy and operations; Identifies and researches business growth opportunities; Assists in the development and implementation of strategic plans, business plans, organizational initiatives, and business development activities; Reviews operational, financial, staffing, utilization, performance, and other organizational metrics data to assess effectiveness; Develops feasibility studies, proposals, business cases, program evaluations, and return-on-investment analyses; Collaborates with leadership, other operating units, consultants, vendors, and external stakeholders in support of planning initiatives; Supports relationship development with internal and external stakeholders; Assists with the implementation and ongoing evaluation of programs, processes, systems, or organizational initiatives; Prepares reports, presentations, recommendations, and supporting documentation for management; Interprets and applies applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies; Serves as a resource to management regarding strategic planning methodologies, analytical techniques, organizational performance, and business development; May coordinate projects and lead project teams; Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Principles and practices of strategic planning, business development, and organizational development; Organizational operations, business processes, and performance improvement methodologies; Quantitative and qualitative research and analytical methodologies; Applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies; Skill in Research and data interpretation; Project coordination and organization; Interpersonal skills; Oral and written communication skills; Ability to Analyze operational, financial, organizational, and market information; Identify trends, issues, and opportunities affecting organizational performance.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in business development, strategic planning, healthcare administration, or a closely related field.
SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
A master's degree in a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment and requires use of computer systems and standard office equipment. Work may involve periods of prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and bending. May require travel between UConn Health locations. Work requires sustained concentration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Work requires the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
SCHEDULE
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $101,757.00 - $155,314.00.
