Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt Burnett Dairy Cooperative is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. This position will serve as a key connection between IT and our Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, and Quality teams, helping ensure our ERP (Aptean Ross) manufacturing systems effectively support day-to-day operations and long-term business needs. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the functional management, implementation, and ongoing support of our ERP manufacturing systems. This role will maintain manufacturing master data, support production activities, troubleshoot system and process issues, coordinate enhancements, identify opportunities for improvement, and help employees effectively utilize ERP functionality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on ERP and manufacturing systems experience who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working collaboratively across both technical and operational teams. What You'll Do ERP System Management Serve as the functional owner of ERP manufacturing modules. Configure, maintain, and optimize production-related ERP settings and functionality. Manage and review manufacturing master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), recipes/formulations, routings, production calendars, and other manufacturing parameters. Coordinate ERP system upgrades, testing, implementations, and new functionality. Troubleshoot ERP-related production issues and coordinate with IT and system vendors when necessary. Help ensure ERP processes support company and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate lot traceability, product history, and production documentation. User & Production Support Train new and existing ERP users and provide ongoing coaching and support. Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentation. Identify training needs and develop programs to improve user proficiency. Support daily manufacturing operations by helping ensure ERP system accuracy, availability, and effective utilization. Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Quality, and other departments to resolve scheduling, production execution, and system-related issues. Monitor production transactions and resolve issues affecting accuracy, efficiency, or compliance. Assist with inventory control, transaction accuracy, production reporting, and system reconciliation. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing workflows, ERP utilization, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and best practices across departments and manufacturing locations. Evaluate existing processes and recommend system or procedural changes to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Evaluate ERP functionality and recommend enhancements that improve manufacturing accuracy and performance. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience . 5-7 years of relevant professional experience. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on ERP/manufacturing systems experience. Understanding of inventory management, production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing execution processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong verbal, written, and listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Ability to work effectively across departments in an active manufacturing environment. Strong training, documentation, and user-support skills. Schedule & Work Location This is a hybrid position based in Grantsburg, Wisconsin , with a combination of onsite and remote work. The specific hybrid schedule will be mutually agreed upon based on business and position needs. The position is primarily scheduled during daytime hours; however, occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for special circumstances, system implementations, or other business needs. Occasional travel to other Burnett Dairy Cooperative facilities may be required.
