  Key Responsibilities
  
• Act as the primary connection between Finance and Controlling business teams and the IT organization
  
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
  
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, functionality, and overall performance
  
• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and technology solutions
  
• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of

solutions

• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned SAP applications and business processes
  
• Evaluate existing SAP functionality and recommend system improvements based on business requirements
  
• Partner with users and IT teams to troubleshoot application issues and develop effective solutions
  
• Lead or support cross-functional projects involving Finance, Controlling, IT, and other business functions
  
• Manage project activities including scope, timelines, deliverables, documentation, and user communications
  
• Develop training materials and provide end-user training to support successful adoption of new systems and processes
  
• Monitor system and business-process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  
• Ensure technology solutions support applicable business, financial, statutory, and regulatory requirements
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, system requirements, configurations, and solutions
  
• Support multiple locations and business functions as needed
  
• Maintain a strong customer-service mindset while balancing business needs, technical requirements, and project priorities
  
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
  Qualifications
  
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered
  
• 10+ years of combined business and technical experience
  
• Strong experience with SAP FI and/or CO modules
  
• Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes
  
• Experience translating business requirements into functional SAP solutions
  
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements
  
• Experience supporting, enhancing, or optimizing SAP environments
  
• Strong understanding of project management principles and experience supporting or leading cross-functional initiatives
  
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
  
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

  Preferred Qualifications
  
• Experience supporting

SAP FICO

within a manufacturing, industrial, maritime, defense, or other complex operational environment

• Experience with both SAP Finance and Controlling functions
  
• Experience supporting payroll-related business processes
  
• Experience leading SAP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or optimization projects
  
• Project management experience involving multiple departments or locations
  
• Experience developing user training programs and supporting organizational change
  
• Knowledge of financial and regulatory requirements applicable to commercial and government/defense-related business environments
  
• Experience working with large, multi-location organizations
  
• Previous experience serving as an SAP functional subject matter expert or Business Advisor
  
• Experience working in an environment with ISO, OSHA, or similar compliance requirements
