full-time ???? We're Hiring Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge in the automotive industry? We are looking for a Buyer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama . What will you do?
- Manage purchasing of indirect commodities, MRO materials, spare parts, PPE, chemicals, hardware, electrical supplies and services.
- Create and manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, including price comparisons and supplier negotiations.
- Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities in the U.S. and support alternative material initiatives.
- Analyze costs, market conditions, logistics and other commercial factors to identify savings opportunities.
- Manage supplier performance, onboarding, contracts and commercial requirements.
- Create and follow up on purchase requisitions and purchase orders through SAP .
- Work closely with Maintenance, HR, Finance, Logistics, Engineering and other internal stakeholders.
- Support audits, purchasing controls, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports and executive presentations. What are we looking for?
- Experience in Indirect Procurement / MRO Purchasing .
- Experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing and RFQ/RFP processes.
- Knowledge of SAP and purchasing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Understanding of costing, logistics, landed cost and supplier performance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with suppliers in the U.
S. and/or international markets is a plus.
