Our client, Aerospace/Defense Manufacturing is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the Purchasing/Procurement team supporting day-to-day sourcing, RFQ execution, and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, a high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly across internal teams and suppliers, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:

8am - 5pm What's the Job? Manage supplier forecast using qualitative and quantitative methods to support customer service and inventory management objectives. Execute RFQs for new projects and perform purchasing tasks that support core activities and KPI goals. Track forecast, evaluate risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes. Assist with selecting, ordering, and coordinating materials or services for production based on engineering and specifications, while improving pricing, quality, service, delivery performance, and lead times. Complete daily purchasing system processes (commodity/buyer codes, exception messages, and order acknowledgments), including returns to suppliers (RMA's), resolving items within 24-48 hours. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, or a related field; 0-2 years of related experience is common for entry-level Buyer I roles. Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail; proficiency with office software and ERP systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers. Demonstrated ERP/MRP and computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, responsive environment; knowledge of SAP is preferred. What's in it for me?
