Compensation:
$70,000 to $80,000 base plus bonus Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience within aerospace, automotive, defense, or other highly regulated industries preferred. Background sourcing complex machined components and metal-based products. Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints and understand manufacturing processes. Knowledge of cost analysis, ROI, and procurement best practices. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Exposure to value analysis, cost reduction initiatives, and government contracting is a plus. Key Responsibilities Source materials, products, and services while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Manage RFQs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and purchase orders. Expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain issues to support production needs. Monitor market trends, lead times, and cost drivers. Coordinate returns and replacement of nonconforming materials. Maintain and expand supplier relationships and approved vendor networks. Participate in supplier audits and evaluations. Support continuous improvement, cost savings, and value engineering initiatives. Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
