Role:
The Buyer is responsible for inputting transactions and administering a purchasing system. This position initiates, prepares, and processes and verifies purchase orders based on the established guidelines for purchasing materials and goods by required delivery dates. The buyer works closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and production to ensure timely and accurate procurement of cabinetry components, hardware, raw materials, and operational supplies.

              Experience and Education:
              o High School Diploma or equivalent required o 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurements, or supply chain preferred o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) o Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP or purchasing software. o Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. o Effective communication and negotiation skills. o Familiarity with inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
              Duties and Responsibilities:
              • Job Duties:
              • Input and maintain purchasing transactions within ERP systems.
              • Maintain complete and organized purchasing records for audits, reporting, and traceability.
              Prepare and Process Purchase Orders:
              Initiate, prepare, and process purchase orders in line with established guidelines to procure materials and goods, ensuring delivery by required dates.
                Expedite Order:
                Follow up on delayed orders and resolve issues related to changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements to ensure timely receipt of goods.
                  Supplier Interaction:
                  Engage with suppliers to confirm pricing terms, product specifications, and availability. Work collaboratively to optimize payment schedules based on individual supplier agreements. o Assist in evaluating supplier performance and recommending improvements or alternatives.
                    Internal Communication:
                    Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure procurement needs are identified and fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
