KB International Trading is seeking a Buyer to join our team in Dania Beach, Florida. The Buyer will support our purchasing operations by working closely with vendors, manufacturers, Customer Service/Logistics, Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure orders, pricing, product information and purchasing-related matters are followed through from beginning to end. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive and comfortable following up consistently with vendors and internal departments. This position requires someone who does not wait for problems to come to them and is comfortable taking ownership of pending items until they are resolved. Responsibilities Support the purchasing team with daily purchasing and vendor-related activities. Follow up with manufacturers and vendors regarding open orders, availability, pricing, lead times and pending issues. Follow up with manufacturers regarding trade promotions, discounts, allowances and other available vendor programs. Maintain and update vendor and product pricing accurately in the company's system. Review vendor price lists and communicate relevant pricing changes. Coordinate with Customer Service/Logistics and Warehouse teams regarding incoming orders, product availability, discrepancies and other purchasing-related matters. Communicate with vendors to obtain product specifications, documentation, samples and other requested information. Assist with product and vendor research when needed. Request and compare vendor pricing and quotes. Follow up on samples and product-related requests through completion. Maintain organized purchasing and vendor records. Assist with resolving pricing, order and vendor discrepancies. Monitor pending purchasing matters and provide updates to the appropriate team members. Assist buyers with special projects and commercial requests as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, supply chain, distribution or a related role preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish Experience working directly with vendors and manufacturers. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Comfortable managing multiple open orders, vendors and priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, especially when working with pricing and product information. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with an ERP or purchasing system required; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow assignments through completion. Experience in food distribution, consumer products, wholesale or import/export is a plus.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
