EXPERIENCED

Construction Estimator/Purchasing Coordinator needed for a multi-family renovations/remodel construction company based in Clearwater. Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' estimating and purchasing experince and multi-family industry knowledge in order to determine the total cost of renovations/remodel projects. Candidate will work closely with the purchasing department, the sales representative and project managers to determine amounts of materials needed to complete each project. Knowledge of building and construction a plus. Well-rounded self-motivated candidates must be able to do the following: Gather information, specifications, quantities, and requirements; setting priorities. Prepares construction estimates by studying plans; updating specifications; occasional property visit for material take-off. Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Quoting, preparing, processing and tracking of purchase orders Scheduling and tracking both internal and external material deliveries. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
