Job Description
Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator with experience in purchasing, materials planning, inventory, or a related supply chain function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating materials, purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory requirements in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with related supply chain, purchasing, materials, or light industrial experience will be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage purchase orders based on material requirements and inventory needs.
Coordinate the timely availability of materials, components, and supplies.
Assist with materials planning and MRP activities.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
Track purchase orders and communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, lead times, and backorders.
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory information in the ERP/MRP system.
Work closely with production, operations, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
Assist with obtaining quotes, comparing pricing, and coordinating with suppliers.
Help resolve supplier delivery, quantity, and quality issues.
Analyze inventory and purchasing data to support supply chain decisions.
Perform other purchasing and supply chain duties as needed.
