High SchoolResponsibilities Plan and purchase materials, components, and supplies based on production requirements and inventory needs. Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock levels to support production and customer demand. Issue and manage purchase orders while tracking deliveries and resolving shortages or delays. Work closely with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, order confirmations, and delivery updates. Review MRP/planning data and make purchasing decisions based on demand, lead times, and inventory levels. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to address material requirements and shortages. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records within the company's ERP system. Help identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and optimize inventory. Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding material availability and potential supply issues.
