Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement process, ensuring the acquisition of services and goods in a cost-effective and timely manner. Your expertise will support our supply chain management objectives, optimize vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and introductory experience with ERP systems to facilitate seamless procurement operations across diverse categories. Responsibilities Manage procurement activities utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline sourcing, purchasing, and contract management processes. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify optimal suppliers and develop comprehensive category management plans. Cold-calling leads from a list provided, soft-vetting, and then handing warm leads off to the sourcing specialist Oversee vendor contract management and supplier relationship management to foster long-term partnerships and performance improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, quality management, finance, and project teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. Monitor supply chain performance metrics related to materials management, logistics, and inventory levels. Support procurement project management efforts by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication. Requirements Demonstrated expertise in SAP, Oracle
EBS, ERP
systems, and e-procurement platforms. Familiarity with procurement regulatory frameworks and compliance standards. Experience with procurement category management and supply chain optimization. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Effective cross-functional collaboration skills across departments such as logistics, finance, and operations. Knowledge of procurement regulations related to public sector purchasing is desirable. Pay:
